“No matter how slow the film, Spirit always stands still long enough for the photographer It has chosen.” -Minor White
Whatever pace I set for myself on this life journey, my cameras have always beckoned me to slow down long enough to remember the joy of living “in the now” and the elation that comes from truly observing, and not just glancing, at the majesty of our natural world.
I am currently organizing a series of ongoing photographic presentations and field workshops to assist others in discovering and then developing their own “visual voice”. I have helped organize (and been a student) in similar workshops nationwide over the years and I have found small class sizes to be more personal and also afford each participant a more informative learning environment.
Click here for a calendar of upcoming workshops.
I am a graduate of the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio (B.A. in Speech and Comparative Religions) and Kent State University (M.A. in Communications).
My published work includes Clear Thoughts on Hazy Days, Maine Naturally and a series of inspirational greeting cards entitled Certain Passages.
My latest book, This Day- Reflections and Ruminations, can be previewed and purchased here…
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you. You can contact me here. I hope to see you “in the field” soon.
